Services we offer

Full, proactive network management
We strive to never be “reactive”, and instead take a prevention-first approach to avoid “break-fix” practices which can easily cost you more. Typical necessary maintenance keeps your network secure and running at peak speed. Regular patches and updates are applied on a controlled schedule, monitoring is continuous, full documentation is kept, and additional scripting automations are introduced whenever possible to save you both time and money in the long term.
This way, we know that all of your systems are functioning fully, at their best, from your internal network devices, firewalls, switches, servers, computers, and WiFi, to your antivirus, hosted email security, and your domain itself.
Additionally, we coordinate with all of your tech and software vendors and ISPs, phone providers, and webmasters, proudly serving as your hands-on network managers and managed service “CIO” (Chief Information Officer). We stay abreast of any changes in your office, from staffing to equipment, so that we can keep your technology running smoothly.
Need quotes for new equipment and services? We provide them all the time.
And we do all of this at rates that simply cannot be beat.
Security that isn’t confusing
We take security insanely seriously and only use and recommend industry-leading anti-virus and anti-ransomware software, along with business-grade firewalls and email best practices with optional advanced filtering.
We also happily review the best and expected IT practices with all new internal staff hires, and can even offer custom security training on a variety of areas including “phishing” and the latest scams.
Computer repair and software installation, of course
Oftentimes, we can diagnose common issues very quickly (sometimes even over the phone!), because we feel that we’ve seen it all. We’ll work to get you back up and running quickly, while preventing any similar problems from happening again in the future.
And although we don’t call ourselves Mac experts, we’ve seen a thing or two—and fixed a thing or two—on Macs over the years. Give us a call and tell us what’s going on; we bet we can help!
Regardless of the issue, we’ll give you better service, at better prices, than any “geeks in blue shirts.”
Cloud-based app configuration and migration
“The cloud” is a popular place to be… but that doesn’t mean it’s best for you. Lots of factors determine whether “going to the cloud” (which is truly a silly phrase) is right for your business. Do all your apps support it? What is your current internet connection like? How do you secure your data? What happens if your app or provider is down?
The cloud is just another way of saying “renting vs. owning”. And while there are definite technical advantages to the cloud in certain circumstances today (eg., email for small businesses), you probably don’t want your whole business there. We can explain why and provide you with reliable options.
Remote access that works for you, and not the bad guys
We can implement—and explain—a full array of secure solutions including remote file access, VPNs, “zero-trust” options, and fully-synced email access from anywhere.
Additionally, because this is a primary method for external “bad actors” to get to your data, we close off unused access whenever possible, configure network alerting mechanisms, and frequently review network reports for otherwise potentially intrusive activities.
Data backups and disaster recovery (yes, you need it)
How long can your business be “down”, without access to your computers or data?
What would you do if your internet went out at your business? Or your phones?
Having multiple copies of your data is vital, and we can work with you to ensure that you always have copies of your most valuable data, and that your overall backup and recovery plan is both affordable and sufficient to meet your needs.
With relatively inexpensive network connections today, we can also configure “fail-over” and redundant internet connections, along with network connection monitoring. This way, we can enable more uptime at your office—a sure way to keep your business in business.
On-site or remote support, and after-hours scheduled maintenance
Although most issues today can be resolved remotely—and most are—we love to come and see our clients, and we never charge more for an on-site visit. We consider our clients to be family and we’re always happy to come and resolve issues on-site. We are personal and accessible, we’re happy to meet new staff, offer new employee training, and also bring by fresh cookies…
We work weird hours by trade. But we typically will perform your scheduled maintenance services after hours and on weekends, which ensures minimal network disruptions for your business.
And we offer much more…
